Sorry to hear of Rod’s passing, prayers and comfort to his wife Carol and family. I served with Rod at Whidbey Naval Air Station and also aboard the USS Enterprise. Rod was a true friend and a great man. Missed seeing him a year or so ago in Idaho, so another hood one lost too soon. God Bless his family and smooth sailing Rod you will be missed. Rod was such a wonderful person who cared so much about others who depended on seeing him and sharing a few laughs. He understood, so well, those who have significant disabilities, and made a point of spending time with them and treating with great kindness. He is and will continue to be missed and our hearts go out to Carol and his family.
