Mary Linda Orley, of Townsend, died Monday, August 2, 2021, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 68 years old. She was born on August 21, 1952, a daughter of Harry and Ruth Lund. She married Mark Orley on March 20, 1987.
Mary was a teacher's aide for the Wabeno School District.
She enjoyed reading and fishing.
Survivors include her husband, Mark; two sons, Jeffrey (fiancée Shannon) and Cody (special friend Nichole); a sister, Joan (Gary) Hilgendorf; four brothers, Tom (Julie), Jim, Bill and Andy; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Anyone who knew her is welcome to join in a celebration of life on Saturday, August 21 from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Oughton Park Pavilion on Pickerel Lake, Townsend.

My very dear gentle loving friend of over 50 years. We got into a bit of mischief from time to time. My favorite story included red roses and nuns. No matter how long it had been between visits, it was as if it was just a short period of time filled with laughter and love.
So sorry to hear of Mary’s untimely passing. She awaits had a welcoming smile and a friendly comment when I saw her.
