Edwin F. "Eddie" Slimmer Jr, 77 , Green Bay, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021. He was born on August 21, 1943, in Laona to Edwin F. and Rosemary (Gilligan) Slimmer Sr.
Ed served in the US Army before working as a Mill Worker at US Papermill/Sonoco. He enjoyed long Motorcycle Trips all over the US and Canada.
He is survived by his daughter, Samantha (Nicholas) Meyer of White Lake; grandchildren, Michaela (Tony) Gereau of Green Bay, Kerstin Meyer, United States Air Force stationed in Alabama; great-grandchild, Gavin Gereau of Green Bay; brothers, Joe (Sandy) Slimmer of Appleton, Wayne (Terry) Slimmer of Mole Lake, and David Slimmer, of Fond Du Lac; a sister, Sue (Byron) Rousseau of Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Judith A. Slimmer of Fond du Lac, and his special friend Gertrude Haas of Brillion.
In accordance with Eddie's wishes, there will be no service. Ed was donated to Science at UW Madison.
