Ronald Charles Hellendrung Sr., of Elcho, died Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the age of 86. He was born on April 19, 1935, in West Allis, a son of Otto and Edna (Shepard) Hellendrung. He married Jane Borhart on February 5, 1955, in Waukegan, Ill. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2001.

Mr. Hellendrung worked for many years as a union carpenter before owning his own construction company, RCH LLC, retiring in 1999.

He will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family.

Survivors include daughters, Christine (Stevan) Ferris of Milwaukee, Jacqueline Schiesel of Oshkosh, Darlene (Michael) Fastenau of Weaverville, N.C., Sueann (Jeffrey) Frisch of Richfield, and Lorraine (Grant) Siegman of Elcho; a daughter-in-law, Jane Hellendrung of Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a son, Ronald C. Hellendrung, Jr.; son-in-law, Ralph Schiesel; grandson, James Ferris; sisters, Arlene Lewendowski and Carol Heinecke; and a brother, Fritz Hellendrung.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
