James Michael Krzysiak, of Antigo, passed away at his home early on the morning of April 8, 2021. He was born on August 26, 1954 to Joseph and Agnes (Wavrunek) Krzysiak, the 6th of 8 children. He attended St. Mary Grade School and graduated from Antigo High School in 1972.
Jim was a hard worker, working his entire career in Antigo. He began at Tom's Food King while in high school. He worked at Highland Lakes Dairy, Wilke Windows, and the Weinbrenner Shoe Company factory, and retired from Johnson Coil after 40 years.
Jim was a thrifty man, who invested in die cast cars and trucks and enjoyed his yearly visits to the Iola Car Show with his brother John and friends. Jim enjoyed reading biographies, which he relished picking up for a quarter at Good Will. He enjoyed entertaining his family and friends with stories and trivia. He considered himself a gourmet cook, on a budget, utilizing an array of canned goods. He collected classic Rock and Roll CDs and albums. He also enjoyed watching classic TV programs and movies, NASCAR racing, the Brewers, the Packers, and the Badgers, especially sitting around a campfire, and playing cards with friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Ronald and John and sister Rita Rentmeester and her husband Llewellyn.
He is survived by his brothers Joe (Dorothy Jean) Krzysiak, Lake Havasu City, AZ; Gary (Laura) Krzysiak, Algoma, WI; and his sisters Kathy (Steve) Rolling, Antigo and Cindy (John) Hammond, Taylor, WI. Many nieces and nephews, and close cousin, Janice Janusz, also survive him.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Sember officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Uncle Jim, we are going to miss you dearly! Thank you so much for the times we were able to spend together. I will miss the good conversation, laughs, and "educating oppurtunities" you so gratiously shared. Many, many precious hours at the card table, loved every minute of it! Lots of good times at the shooting range as well. I am so blessed to have grown up with you in my life. And I can speak for my family now as you were very special to my wife Hannah and our kids Ruby and Louis. You were another of the kids favorite "funny men" that we would see on our visits back to Antigo. Hannah always talked about some of the good conversations that you guys had. We always could depend on you bringing something interesting to the get together! We are going to miss that awesome "smirk" of a smile! Love you Uncle Jim, see ya soon!

Dearest Friemds,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of James so soon after John's passing. My, but he certainly stayed so handsome all of these years. There are no words of condolence to help with the loss. It is my wish my Steve was part of his welcoming committee in heaven. Love you special, Janet Schoblaska.

I am lucky I got a chance to talk with you at length after the untimely passing away of another dear friend, your brother John. We were planning on getting together on my visit this summer. Kathy and family, I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I can’t imagine the heartache your family is going through. I like working with Jim. I would always tease him about the Jim Krzysiak mating call.... he would just laugh . He was a wonderful man!!
