Linda Sue Beattie, of Antigo, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 64 years old. She was born on June 11, 1956, in Milwaukee, a daughter of Ronald and Ruth (Franzen) Leonard.
Linda was a single mom who proudly raised her children on her own. One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother. She had a big heart as was known as "mom" to many.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer "Ruthie" (Brandon) Jackson of Antigo; three sons, Anthony Beattie and Gene Rose both of Antigo and Jacob Leonard of Menomonie; a grandson, Tommy Rose; other relatives and friends.
A private service will be held.
I remember when she would sing in church. What a beautiful voice. Condolences to the family.
