Marilyn Dombrowski, age 78 of Townsend, left this life and went to her heavenly home to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 23, 2020. She passed away peacefully at home with her three daughters and husband of 56 years by her side.
Marilyn was born on October 7, 1942, in Green Bay, a daughter of the late John and Stella (Swenton) Wiater. She was a graduate of Pulaski High School, class of 1960. Later in life, she received her Associates Degree from Fox Valley Technical College.
She married David Dombrowski on May 30, 1964, in Pulaski.
She was a keypunch operator for Shur Fine Foods in Little Chute, a MID operator for Wisconsin Tissue in Menasha, and retired from Thrivent Financial Services on August 8, 2008.
Marilyn was a faithful member of Four Corners Assembly of God, White Lake. She was the church missions coordinator, part of the quilting ministry, led Bible study, and was an intercessory prayer warrior.
She enjoyed participating in activities with the Wabeno and Lakewood Senior Centers, playing cards and dominos with her friends. She enjoyed fishing for largemouth bass and driving through the woods looking for deer. She looked forward to monthly lunches with her grade school cronies.
Marilyn read her Bible every day, loved Jesus, loved her husband, loved her children, and loved and was proud of her seven grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, David; three daughters, Lynn (Dean) Evers of Milwaukee, Gerise (Michael) Weidner of Bayside, and Tina Dombrowski of West Allis; seven grandchildren, April (Mitchell) Ford, Joshua (Lindsay) Evers, Cpt Stuart Evers, 2d Lt Elijah Evers, Eleanor "Ellie" Weidner, Victoria "Tory" Weidner, and Zachary Weidner; a brother, Leonard Wiater of Spokane, WA; a sister, Janice (James) Parker of Waunakee; and her nieces and nephews. She was like a second mother to nephew and godson, John D. (Karen) Wiater of Green Bay and nephew, Joe (Jennifer) Wiater of DePere.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John T. Wiater.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 12:30 p.m. at Four Corners Assembly of God, White Lake with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Burial will take place Monday, November 30, at 1 p.m. at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Pulaski.

Our deepest sympathy. Through John and Karen, we got to know a wonderful family. A couple times enjoyed the cottage and the surrounding beauty. Rest in peace Marilyn.
My favorite memories with Nana are fishing for Bass and Northerns in the cow pasture, eating fishing candy, listening to Unshackled on the radio, and watching the sunset. She always wore were lucky fishing hat and would do this heavy breathing through clinched lips as she was reeling in a large fish.
I appreciate the time she invested in me by praying for me and always being willing to travel to be apart of our busy lives. She was the best Nana I could ever ask for and loved everyone dearly - she will be surely missed.
