Marcy and Jeff were neighbors to us and always great friends. When we were in a bind to find a sitter, Marcy graciously offered to babysit our son 2-3 days a week and treated him like her own - making homemade babyfood etc. she was the person that had the most amazing smile and always willing to help.

The years have gone by and We have not seen each other but even the picture above in this obituary brings back so many fun stories. She will missed by so many. Lots of love to you all.

May God comfort and guide you during this difficult time; and may the "peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your heart and your mental powers". Philippians 4:7.

Our niece, Marcy, will be remembered forever by us. She was an unforgettable young woman. Indefatigable as a wife and mother, she was always working to provide the best for her family, from making sure their food was nutritional and well-prepared to long discussions about how best to raise her two precious girls, and provide them with the experiences they might need to grow into the lovely young women they have become. So much of the strength and character you see in Kailey and Bekka came from the example provided by their mom.
We were fortunate to have a special relationship with Marcie, which continued for decades. Because we lived halfway between Wisconsin and the thumb of Michigan, we had the benefit of being the stop over point for the Smiths from the time the girls were toddlers to the present day. This provided many opportunities for Marcy to share with me the latest techniques that she had learned for making beautiful things, which she was always, generously, willing to do.
But among her many attributes, there are two that I will always remember. First, Marcy was never afraid of hard work. Likely it was her upbringing on a dairy farm that gave her this strength. The second is her courage. If we can take anything positive from our loss of Marcy, it will be to remember and emulate her courage.
We love you, Marcy, and we will never forget you.

My condolences to all of the family. Marcy was a fun friend, great jewelry and ceramic student, part of my art pack. She dazzled is at class with her scrumptious cookies...and she and Jeff created two of my favorite beautiful women... Kailey and Bekka. Prayers.

Marcy, my dear daughter-in-law, was the kind of woman you would want your son to marry. If you were ever invited to dinner, it meant having her wonderful home baked bread. She was a fantastic homemaker, a talented designer, and a loving wife and mother. She loved the outdoors, and gardening and mowing. Oh, and did I tell you, she always planted a vegetable patch so she could do canning in the summer and fall. (I think she was a workaholic.) and she loved to play on the pontoon or the 4-wheeler. She had more energy than an Energizer Bunny. Jeff would build a bonfire when they went to Newberry. They would finally relax with a drink. Marcy Jane, you will be missed but you will always be loved.
Mom.

P Paula on Mar 22, 2019

So sorry to hear of your shocking loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Paula

It was always evident that Marcy's world was her husband Jeff and her girls. She was a great friend. She did love the water and we had good times on Lake Winnebago on our pontoon boat.
May God bless her family and may they let all the good memories help to warm their hearts.
