Donald H. Kuhr , of Antigo, died Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 85 years old. He was born on June 21, 1933, in Antigo, a son of the late Herman and Gertrude (Lightfoot) Kuhr. He married Mary Ann Waldvogel on August 7, 1965, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Phlox.
Donald was a dairy farmer in the Town of Norwood, retiring in 1998. He hauled milk for Schultz Dairy for five years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church, Phlox and the Phlox Winter Knights snowmobile club.
Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, tapping maple trees, and cutting wood. He enjoyed shooting pool and was on pool leagues for many years. He loved playing Uno with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann; three daughters, Diane (Wayne)Cummings, Donna Kuhr and Linda (Adam Finn) Vollmar all of Antigo; four grandchildren, Victoria (Luke) Richards, Alexander (Barbara Truszynski) Deacy, Kathryn McKinney and Logan Vollmar; a great-granddaughter, Autumn Richards; a sister, Florence Schroeder of Gleason; and a sister-in-law, Helen Kuhr of Phlox.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond, Gerald, Kenny, George and Melvin; and five sisters, Lorraine Brazelton, Marion Allen, Lillian Kuhr, Jean Schmeisser and infant sister, Caroline Kuhr.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church, Phlox with Rev. Charles Hoffmann and Deacon Tom Hartman concelebrating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and Friday, November 9, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
A parish wake service will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

You have my deepest condolences for your loss of Donald. Death is truly an enemy of all of us. Our loving heavenly father Jehovah will reunite us with our lost loved ones soon as promised in the Bible book of Revelation in chapter 21 verse 3,4. These verses may bring you much comfort.
