Helen Petrowski Pilecky, of Deerbrook, died Friday, August 13, 2010 under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice after a year long couragous battle with cancer. She was 77 years old. She was born on July 26, 1933 in Portage, a daughter of Harry and Irene (Waite) Miller. She married Raymond Petrowski on June 14, 1952 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1981. She later married James Pilecky on August 8, 1981. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2010.
She was a graduate of Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee.
She was employed at Frost Veneer, Dixie Lunch, Superior Nursing Home, for local potato growers, Country Kitchen, and Merit Gear. She retired in 2005.
She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening, watching birds and her special pets; Charlie, Buffy and Buddy.
Survivors include two daughters Linda Ullman and fiancee Ray Rine, Deerbrook, Debbie (Ron) Gallenberg, Antigo, a son Gary Petrowski, Deerbrook; four grandsons David Ullman Jr., Gerald Ullman (Angel Lowrie), Raymond Ullman and Josh Gallenberg; three granddaughters Rebecca Kuenzli, Heidi (Scott) Rovello and Amy Gallenberg; two great-granddaughters Ashley Johnson, Lily Ullman; a step great-granddaughter Isabelle Kelly; three sisters Sr. Rose Miller, Elm Grove, Patricia (Russell) Lynett, Antigo, Kathleen Miller, Tenn; a brother Robert (Ida) Miller, Wind Lake, a step son Jerry (Wendy) Pilecky, Weston; a step daughter - Tammy (John) Medo, Wisconsin Rapids; four step grandsons Jeremy (Mindy) Pilecky, Ryan (Andrea) Medo, Jacob Pilecky, Joseph Pilecky; two step granddaughters Tanya (Brent) Sanderfoot, Whitney (Brian) Swenson; two step great-grandsons Seth and Owen Medo;
In addition to her husbands and parents she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, David Ullman, two brothers, Harley and William Miller, a sister Margaret Tock, a step son Joseph Pilecky.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Wencel Catholic Church, Neva with Rev. Michael E. Betley officiating. Burial will take place in St. Wencel Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:30- - 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for the Gerald and Dorothy Volm Cancer Center where she recieved excellant care.
