Dolores F. Hermann of Antigo, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at home with family at her side. She was 89 years old. She was born on September 7, 1920 in Antigo, to David and Lucy (Lukowicz)Payette. She married Robert Hermann on July 22, 1944 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1989.
A graduate of Antigo High School she organized the first cap and gown graduation ceremony in 1938. Mrs. Hermann was a member of SS Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church and rosary society, was the first President of the Education Association of St. Hyacinth, and helped compose the church bulliten for many years.
Survivors include three daughters Roberta Malwitz, Cloquet, Minn, Beth Taylor, Panama City, FL, Mary Hermann, Antigo; three sons Bill (Cathy) Hermann, Antigo, Tony (Carol) Hermann, Lodi, Gerry (Kay) Hermann, Antigo, 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM on Friday at the Bradley Funeral Home.
In leiu of flowers a memorial is being established.
