Gorman Earl White, of Antigo, died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center. He was 86 years old. He was born on July 11, 1923 in Eagle River to William and Ida (Conn) White.
He graduated from Antigo High School in 1941 and attended Junior College in Tonkawa, OK. He served in the United States Army Air Corp with the Medical Corp and Anti Airfield Artillery in the European Theater during World War II. He later served with the Air Force Medical Corp. during the Korean War. After service he worked at American Motors in Kenosha. He retired to Antigo in 1985.
Survivors include a sister, Ida Cardwell-Harteau, Fairfield, Calif, three brothers, William White, Kenosha, Garold Zolly(Virginia Keen) White, Antigo, Loyal (Carla) White, Antigo.
He was preceded in death by parents, three brothers and a sister.
Services will be held on Tuesday, at 2:00 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Strong officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 until the time of services at the funeral home.
