Bertha Agnes Weix, of Antigo died Friday, October 9, 2009 in Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center. She was 100 years old

She was born June 18, 1909 in Elmhurst the Daughter of the late Julius and Hattie (Lytton) Ritschke.


She married the late Joseph G. Weix on December 19, 1929 in Antigo. He preceded her in death Nov 24, 1976.


She moved to Antigo as a child and has lived here since She was employed at Weinbrunner Shoe Factory for many years.. A long time member of the First Baptist Church, she enjoyed sewing.

Surviving are three nieces, Lillian Ritchke Antigo, Beverly DeBroux, West Bend and Patricia Ritschke, Lake Villa, Ill

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Edward, Alfred and Arthur Ritschke, two nephews Harold Ritschke and Donald Weix and a niece Suzanne.

Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:45 a.m. with Rev. Louise Sanford officiating Bradley Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Online condolences may be made to www.bradleyfh.com.
