Michael Marvin, of Crandon, died Monday, September 28, 2009 at his home. He was 65 years old. He was born on Sunday, December 26, 1943 in Antigo to Roy and Julia (Jicha) Marvin.

While attending high school in Crandon and Antigo he enjoyed playing basketball and football.

Mr. Marvin was a truck driver, and spent time farming. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed all outdoor sports including: hunting, fishing, trapping, golf and cutting fire wood.

Survivors include his, three sons, Kurt Marvin, Antigo, Brian (Krista) Marvin, Nome, Alaska, Jerry Marvin, Antigo, one sisters, Carol (Richard) Hoffmeister, three brothers: Norman (Marian) Marvin, Robert (Margie) Marvin, Ken (Erla) Marvin,all of Antigo, one sister-in-law, Phyllis Marvin, Antigo, two grandchildren, Chase and Lucas Marvin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jerry, and one sister Jane Huhn.

Friends will gather at the Bradley Funeral Home to share memories and stories of Mr. Marvin on Thursday October 1, 2009 from 3:30-8:00.
