Edward O. Tiegs Jr., of Antigo, died Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center. He was 57 years old. He was born on August 14, 1952 in Oconomowoc to Edward O. (Marilyn) Tiegs Sr.
He married Louise(Kin)Tiegs on March 20, 1970 at Waukesha.
Ed was a member of the National Rifle Association, the McMiller Rifle Range in Eagle. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Louise, a daughter, Vicky (Jessi Zergoski) Thiessenhusen, Melrose, two sons, Edward James Tiegs, Waukesha, Edward (Jenny) O. Tiegs III, Mukwanago, son-in-law, Douglas J. Thiessenhusen, Antigo, four granddaughters, Emily Tiegs, Lindsey Tiegs, Katlynn Thiessenhusen, Samantha Tiegs, two grandsons, Paul Thiessenhusen, Patrick Thiessenhusen, his mother, Marilyn Tiegs, Milwaukee, a brother, Thomas (Laurie) Tiegs, Waukesha, WI, two sisters, Judy (Darrell) Drefahl, Milwaukee, and Sue Rolfson, Tishigan. He is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother Robert,
Services will be held on Friday September 18, 2009 at 11:00 am at Bradley Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Kruse will officiate. Visitation will be from 9am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the Tiegs family with arrangements.
