Roger Gene Bremer, of Summit Lake, died suddenly Sunday, April 5, 2009 in Langlade Hospital. He was 54years old

He was born in Antigo, the son of Pauline (Donovan) Bremer of Summit Lake and the late Gene Lawrence Bremer.


He was raised in Summit Lake and graduated from Elcho High School with the class of 1972. He worked at Bass Lake Golf Course, Kraft in Antigo, Milbrew, and in construction. He owned and operated Bremer's Bait Shop in Pelican Lake for many years. He enjoyed the out doors especially fishing and hunting..

Surviving are his mother, Pauline Bremer, Summit Lake, a daughter Jacklyn and two granddaughters Alexander and Alycia all of Las Vegas, two sisters, Diane Bremer, Summit Lake, Barbara Bremer, Summit Lake, a special friend, Linda Markin, Summit Lake, a niece Morgan and nephew Mitchell. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Gene and brother David Bremer

Services will be held at Bradley Funeral Home, April 8, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jack LaMar officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lakeside Cemetery, Summit Lake, .

Visitation will be April 7, 2009 Tuesday from 3:30 to 7 pm and Wednesday from 10 to 11 am at Bradley Funeral Home .
