Mary Mert Boyd, of Antigo, died Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Langlade Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 58 years old. She was born October 26, 1950 in Antigo, to Robert and Carmen (Roseberry) Boyd.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching Bonanza with her friend Willard, housework, caring for her own and others finger nails. She valued time spent with her friends at the Health Care Center.
Survivors include two brothers, Mike (Barb) Boyd, White Lake, Jim (Sylvia) Boyd, White Lake, five sisters, Bobbie (Larry) Meeks, Antigo, Sue (Sam) Cangemi, Waukeegan, IL, Linda (Pete) Bowler, Kenosha, Naomi Rayne, Madison, Mary Holbrook, Antigo, her guardian, James L. DeHart, White Lake, and special friend, Willard Rose, Antigo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Patricia Paulasky, Charlotte Erhart, and Ina Blakley, five brothers Alley, Robert Lee Jr., William, Daniel, and Terrance.
Services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Burial will take place in the spring at Langlade Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
