Keith Johnson, of Green Bay, formerly of Antigo died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the Bornemann CBRF in Green Bay. He was 83years old.

He was born September 24, 1925 in Antigo, son of the late Gustav and Vivian (Loper) Johnson..He attended school in Antigo.

He served in the United States Navy from October 1,1942 to October 3,1947. He served aboard ships in the South Pacific as a First Class Cook.
He married Genevieve Ann Winnega on October 14, 1946 in San Francisco, CA She survives.

Following military service they lived in Omro until 1949. Moving to Antigo he owned and operated a milk route for Antigo Co-op Milk Products. In 1956 they returned to Omro where he was employed by the 7up Bottling Company of Oshkosh until 1962. They moved to Mountain where they owned and operated Keith's Restaurant until 1965. He then worked for the Oconto County Highway Department until his retirement in January 1985.
He loved to hunt, fish, cook, and take road trips out west.

He was a life member of Leland Tollefson Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 2653 , Antigo. .

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Karen (Scott) Hempstead; son, Dan (Kathy) Johnson; sister, Quinette (James) Hader; 4 grandchildren, Bret (Lisa) McDermid, Kurt (Jodi) McDermid, Bart (Jen) Johnson, Mindy (Ray Collins) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Austin, Kelsi, Lachlan, Reese, Emma, Lawson, Ellie, Mia and Arianna; sister in law, Elizabeth Fischer; brother in law, Gerald (Gloria) Winnega and many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Don Johnson, a nephew, Keith Hader, two great granddaughters, Brooke Ann McDermid and Hannah Lee Johnson Funeral services will be held at Bradley Funeral Home, Friday, February 20, 2009 at 2 p.m..
Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Bradley Funeral Home Friday, February 20 from 1 p.m. to time of service Antigo Veterans will conduct Military Honors at the funeral home..
