Anna Horvath, of Antigo formerly of the Lake Geneva area died Saturday, December 20, 2008 in Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Antigo, WI She was 93years old

She was born July 28, 1915 in Chicago, ILL, Daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Radich) Vavra.


She married Albert Horvath on June 29, 1935 in McHenry, Ill. He preceded her in death on Dec 25, 1987 Following marriage she and her husband lived in the Delavan and Lake Geneva areas. She moved to Pickerel, WI in 1998 and to Antigo in 2005. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Walworth. She was a devoted mother and grandmother..

Surviving are 3 daughters, Lydia Kurtz Fountian, Colo, Virgiaia Thompson Pearson,WI and Judy Schultz Lily;WI a son Albert Horvath, Jr Lake Geneva; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Walston Mt. Olive, Ala; sister-in-law, Grace Vavra Elkhorn.

She was preceded in death
by her parents, husband, 3 daughters Janet Stouder, Billie Schultz , Susan Horvath, and 4 brothers Frank, Louie, James and John Vavra

Funeral services will be held at Bradley Funeral Home,Hwy 45 Antigo Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jack LaMar officiating.

Interment is planned in the spring at East Delavan Cemetery

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 23 from Noon to 1:00 PM at Bradley Funeral Home Antigo, WI .
