Eugene Powell, of Lily, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at his home. He was 55 years old. Born November 25, 1952 in Antigo to the late Elmer and Helen(Dalsky) Powell
He lived in the Lily area all his life and graduated from Antigo High School in 1971, He was employed by Wick Buildings for 25 years. Since 1994 he had owned and operated Powell Construction. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, helping others, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his, daughter, Tera Powell Green Bay; son, Eric Powell Pearson; the mother of his children, Sue Powell Green Bay; daughter-in-law, April Pownell Neenah; 2 grandchildren, Kylie Powell Neenah, Hailey Diaz Green Bay; 3 sisters, Sharon (Jerold) Buck Green Bay, Shirley (Brian) Mikkelson Green Bay, Luella (Rick Evans) McConnell Pickerel; 3 brothers, Elmer (Mary) Powell Appleton, Dee Powell Lily, Steven (Shawn) Powell Green Bay his sidekick Scott, many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

He was preceded in death by Parents, 1 Son, Brad Powell, Oct 11, 2008 and brother-in-law Bob McConnell

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 11:00 am at Bradley Funeral Home with Eugene's cousin Robert Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Pickerel. Visitation will be Thursday, November 27 3:30 to 8 pm and Friday 9 to 11am at Bradley Funeral Home. A celebration of friends and family will be held at the Wolf's Den, Pearson at 5 pm Saturday.
