Gladys Hoffmeister, of the Town of Hutchins, died Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 66 years old.
Born February 20, 1942 in Milwaukee, wI to the late Maxillian and Juanita (Schmidt)Kainz. She married the late William Hoffmeister on May 12, 1962 at Milwaukee, WI. He preceded her in death on Dec 30, 1995.

She was raised and attended school in Milwaukee. In 1978 she and her family moved to the Town of Hutchins. She has resided there since. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, sewing, and fishing.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Cindy (Edward) Wasrud Wauwatosa, Carla (Donald) Zeinert Mattoon, Amy (Kenny) Lenzner Birmanwood, Kathy Hoffmeister Wausau; 6 grandchildren, Sarah Wasrud and Joshua Wasrud both of Wauwatosa, Derek Hoffmeister Menoninee Falls, Donald Hoffmeister Mattoon, Christine Lenzner and Michelle Lenzner both ofBirnamwood; sister, Sr. Mary Kainz San Fidel, NM; 2 brothers, Michael Kainz Arbor Vita, John Kainz Canada

She was preceded in death by Parents, husband, a sister Elsa Lowery

Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 10:00 am at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. .
