William E.T. Miller, of Polar, died Monday, September 8, 2008 at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center. He was 79 years old. Born October 15, 1928 in Duluth, Minnesota to William James and Lena Mae (Fisher) Miller he married Esther Royce on March 16, 1961 in Waukegan, Il.
She preceded him in death in January 19, 1997.

He was raised in Duluth where he worked on the family farm and as a welder in the shipyards. He moved to Milwaukee in 1959 and began a long truck driving career. In 1971 he moved to Polar and retired in 1986.

His lifelong hobby was building and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed trout fishing and hunting.

Survivors include two daughters Rebbecca (James) Eldridge, Bryant, Cindie Britton, Duluth, MN, three sons, Rodney (Debra) Miller, Polar, Todd (Kerri) Miller, Polar, Jody Miller, Duluth, MN, 29 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, one son William J. Miller, one daughter Judith Beede, one Granddaughter: Stefanie Miller and one grandson, Brandon Eldridge.

Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Lane Lavender, officiating. Burial will take place in Langlade Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
