Irene Rose Hitt, formerly of Deerbrook died June 13, 2008 in Colorado. She was 89 years old. Mrs. Hitt was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 13, 1919 to Joseph and Ann Nevaril Pavel. She moved to Deerbrook as a child where she lived until moving to Chicago in 1957. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and crocheting however her true love was spending time with her family. She was a kind person who taught her family how to be kind as well. Ms. Hitt was preceded in death by her husband Chauncey Hitt in 1990.
Survivers include one son Michael Hitt of Osage Beach, Missouri and one daughter Patricia Hitt of Grand Junction, Colorado, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday June 26, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Omer Kelley officiating. Burial of cremains will be at the St. Wencel Cemetery, Neva.
