Ellyn Royce, formerly of White Lake, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Colonial Manor in Wausau. She was 92 years old. Born March 26, 1916 in Menominee, MI to Joseph and Rose (Kirchner) Kadlec. She married Luther Luke Royce on June 6, 1937 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church White Lake.
He preceded in death on Oct. 6, 1973.

She graduated from White Lake High School. Mrs. Royce was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the family farm. She also worked at Amron Corp. in Antigo from 1971 - 1989. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include two sons Curtis (Patricia) Royce, Racine, Lyle (Sandy) Royce, Wausau, five Grandchildren, Melissa Russo, Racine, Cynthia (Scott) Zarda, Birnamwood, Marsha (Stuart) Schewe, Harshaw, Robert (Heather) Mayer, Wausau, Joseph Mayer, Wausau, 11 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three grandsons Steven, David and Bryan Royce, one brother Raymond Kadlec.

Services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, White Lake with Rev. Steven Vaudt officiating. Burial will take place in Langlade Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and on Friday at the church one hour prior to services.
