Eugene Mosher of Post Lake, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at his home. He was 75 years old. Born December 28, 1932 in Antigo to the late Leonard and Lillian (Donohue)Mosher. He married Libby Prochaska on Dec. 1, 1956 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. She survives.

He was raised in Antigo where he attended St. John Parochial School and graduated from Antigo High School in 1950. Mr. Mosher served with the United States Army from 1953-1955. He attended St. Norbert College for a year and graduated from University of Wisconsin at Madison from the School of Pharmacy. As a young man he worked at Rasman Drug Store in Antigo as a stock boy. Following college he worked as a Pharmacist in Madison, Green Bay, St. Cloud MN, and Oshkosh. He owned and operated the Mosher Snyder Drug Store in Wausau for a number of years. He moved to Post Lake and worked in Antigo at Snyder Drugs, Copps, K-Mart and Wal Mart. Prior to retirement in 2006 he also worked at the Elcho Pharmacy.

Mr. Mosher was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Elcho, the church Men's Club, The Benelovent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge in Wausau, Sparks-Doernenburg American Legion Post 3 of Antigo, and the former Northway VFW Post 920 at Pelican Lake. He served as President of the Downtown Businessmen in Wausau, and was a member of the Wausau Auxillary Policeman Association.

He was an avid Packer and Badger fan and enjoyed hunting,fishing, and going to the casino.

Survivors include his his wife, Libby three daughters, Diane (William) Cralley, Suwanee, GA, Cheryl (Kevin) Loos, Mosinee, Jill (Steve) Kickhaver, Ringle; three sons, Mark (Susan) Mosher, Sleepy Hollow, IL, Curtis (Amy) Mosher, Waterloo, WI, Scott (Andrea) Mosher, Wausau; four sisters, Noreen (Ralph) Heine, Elk City, OK, Mary (Lloyd) Johnson, Sleepy Hollow, IL, Patricia Anderson, Maribel, Susan (Donald) Warren, Wausau; four brothers, Leonard Jr. (Maxine) Mosher, Mt. Prospect, IL, Robert John (Esther) Mosher, Appleton, Michael (Sally) Mosher, Escanaba, MI, Dennis (Susan) Mosher, Oconto; 14 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, one son Eugene Jr. one brother in law James Anderson

Services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Elcho with Rev. Roger Strebel, officiating. Burial will take place in Restlawn Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be Friday from 3:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and on Sat. at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Veterans will stand honor guard on Friday from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
