Clara Kryka, age 89, of the Town of Antigo, died Friday, August 17, 2007, at the Crandon Nursing Home in Crandon. She was born March 2, 1918 to the late Albert and Minnie (Stauber) Gallenberg. On May 3, 1941 she married John "Jack" Kryka at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2005.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Antigo, past vice president of ZCBJ Lodge 333, and Gateway Square Dancing Club.
She was a homemaker and as a young lady she was a housekeeper for the Mattek family, worked seasonally for Bob Gallenberg Potato Farm, Sheldons, and was a Town of Antigo Election Poll worker.
She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, knitting & crocheting, traveling and being with family members.

Survivors include six daughters.

Two sisters Edna Gallenberg and Evelyn Zingg, two brothers Anton and Arthur Gallenberg.


Funeral services will be held at St. John Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Monday, August 20, 2007.
Rev. Charles Hoffmann will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 8 pm Sunday and 8:30 am to 9:30 am Monday at Bradley Funeral Home.
