Mary Danek age 88 died Friday May 18, 2007 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Czechoslovakia on March 30, 1919. The family moved to The Town of Neva when Mary was two years old. At age eighteen she moved to Chicago where she married Milo Danek on September 20, 1941. They owned and operated Mary and Milo's, a restaurant in Hinsdale, Illinois until 1966. They lived in Downers Grove, Illinois, returning to Neva in 1978. She was a member of the Deerbrook Women's Club and the Antigo Garden Club. Mary will be remembered for her beautiful flower gardens at her home on Highway C.

Survivors include one daughter Lauretta Murdoch of Antigo.
One sister Mildred (Omer) Wirtz of Deerbrook.
One grandson Jeffrey (Naomi) Murdoch of Hinckley, Illinois.
One sister in law Edna (Resch) Eldridge of Plainfield, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Frances (Slavik) Denk. One brother Emil.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Omer Kelley officiating. Burial will take place in Town of Neva Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences at www.bradleyfh.com.
