Evangeline Wagner, longtime Antigo resident, died Sunday April 22, 2007 at her home, she was 95. Born on November 2, 1911in Antigo to Frank and Lillian (Ambrose) Fisher she married Ervin Wagner on May 5, 1932 in Antigo; he preceded her in death on May 21, 1986. She was a member of St. Mary Hyacinth Catholic Church, its Rosary Society, and their Sunshine Club.

She is a graduate of Antigo High School. She worked as a waitress at the Red Feather in Antigo and at the Pea Canning Factory. As a homemaker she enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing, and yardwork.

Survivors include two sons Irving (Pat) Wagner of Marquette, Michigan,
and Daniel (Fran) Wagner of Gulfport, Mississippi.

Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers Emil, Victor and Alvin Fisher and three sisters Anna, Margarette, and Sophia Fisher.

Funeral services will be held on Friday 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 10:00 - 11:00 with the St. Mary Hyacinth Rosary Society Rosary Wake Service held at 10:30 a.m. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
