Doris E. Wurtinger of Antigo died Friday, March 02, 2007, at Langlade Memorial Hospital, Antigo. She was 88 years old. She was born February 7, 1919 in Antigo to the late Dennis and Sarah (Boettcher) Van Ooyen. On October 30, 1937 she married Harold J. Wurtinger. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1995.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo. A life long Antigo resident, she enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, her flower garden, taking long walks, and her cat "Kitty".

Barbara (LeRoy) Thompson of Slippery Rock, Penn.

A Son Jack (Marguerite) Wurtinger of Antigo

12 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson

Mrs. Wurtinger was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law Carl Zimmerman, 4 Sisters Elsie Volkman, Marion and Louise Wurtinger, and Violet Van Ooyen; and 2 Brothers Roland and Orvin Van Ooyen.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Peace Lutheran Church, Antigo. Rev. Scott Kurse will officiate
Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Antigo.
Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 8:00 PM Monday at Bradley Funeral Home, Hwy 45, Antigo and from 10 to 11AM Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church. A memorial has been established to Peace Lutheran Church, Antigo.
