Irene M. Arrowood of Antigo age 89 died Sunday February 11, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Born on September 27, 1917 in Antigo to Frank and Mary (Hickey) VanOoyen she married Joseph Essert on July 24, 1935 he preceded her in death on November 21, 1958. She married Manford Arrowood on July 30, 1960 he preceded her in death on September 8, 1992.
She worked at the Antigo Canning Factory, Yawkee-Bissell Lumber Company in White Lake and Weinbrenner Shoe Factory in Antigo.

She is survived by three daughters Barbara Bigelow of Antigo, Judy Arrowood of Antigo and Josephine (Donald) Barath of DePere. Two sons William Essert of Evans, Colorado, Eugene (Marlene) Essert of Gleason.
20 grandchildren many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by both husbands, one daughter Carolyn Lambert Boyd,
One son Robert Essert, one brother in infancy William VanOoyen.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 15, 2007 1:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with visitation from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in spring at Bent Cemetery.
