So sorry to hear about Jim. It was always a good time when all of us cousins got together. Many good memories. My thoughts are with you all today. You are such a strong family unit.
Take comfort, at this difficult time, in knowing you are surrounded by the abundant prayers and support of the entire neighborhood. May your memories of Jim forever bring you joy and laughter.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Spanbauer family. Jim was a good man and it was a pleasure growing up in the same neighborhood.
Jimmy was a very sweet guy! We had several classes together each year throughout our school years. We had a blast! He was my partner in our graduation walk. My leg was in a cast due to recent knee surgery and I was a very slow partner. I was so worried about being so far behind and slow. Jimmy said, "Don't worry Brenda, we got it, we got it". He picked me up and carried me through half of it! He was always very considerate and caring of others. It was always great going shopping on Friday nights and visiting with him at Hunters Grocery Store. He always had a warm smile and a kind word. Jimmy is someone very special to me and I will never forget him.
The fastest man on ice, the Aztec Sun God, catching a bomb from Johnny U on Pearl Ave... Jimmy could do it all and w/ allot of laughs. We are sorry to hear of your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He always met you with a smile and a joke or two, showing his good soul and warm heart. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,
May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.-Author unknown
I was saddened to hear of Jim's passing, but my memory of Jim and his Family quickly brought images of the many fantastic times we shared as youngsters. I will always remember Jim as the fastest man on ice skates.
