Margaret "Maggie" Maus, of Deerbrook, died Friday, September 21, 2018, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 78 years old. She was born on July 30, 1940, in Wittenberg, WI a daughter of the late John and Irene (Wolf) Jensen. She married Ronald Maus on November 8, 1958, in Shawano. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2012.
She attended Sunny Lane Grade School and Mattoon High School.
Mrs. Maus worked for the Wisconsin Veneer Plywood Mill in Mattoon for 19 years.
She loved fishing, gardening, crocheting and knitting. She will be remembered for her love for animals. She had a collection of salt and pepper shakers and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen (Steven) Smith of Kempster and Charmaine Schultz of Antigo; four sons, Lance Maus of Shawano, Paul "Skinny" Maus of Deerbroook, Brian Maus of Bostaville and Shawn Maus of Wausau; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Hartsarn of FL; and a brother, Orville Jensen of Red Granite.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a child in infancy, a granddaughter in infancy and two brothers, Lou Jensen and Lester Jensen.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Holy Family Cemetery, Mattoon. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.

You have my deepest condolences for your loss of Margaret. . Death is truly an enemy of all of us. Our loving heavenly father Jehovah knows the pain you are in and has promised a resurrection soon to come. That promise can be found in the Bible book of Revelation in chapter 21 and verses 3,4.
