M Margaret Rose Kaffka on Oct 30, 2018

In early days, when visiting Aunt Katy, I was made to feel like part of the family. Katy was like a mother hen making room for one more chick under her wing. There was always room for one more.

In addition to the immediate Zdanovec family, Katherine’s survivors included niece Margaret Rose and nephew Wayne Edward, both children of sister Josephine (Edward) Kaffka. Katherine was also preceded in death by niece Helen Rose and nephew Edward Adam both children of sister Angeline (Adam) Wodalski.

The three sisters who married and had a family named their first daughter ”Rose” after their beloved mother Rose (Kryshak) Glugla. The three sisters also named each of their first sons “Eddie” after the oldest sister’s husband, Edward Kaffka, who was a family favorite.

Katherine provided a wonderful role model by opening her home to others, sharing her family and helping others to live a more fulfilled life. She had a wonderful grasp of listening so intently that one knew she really understood them and that their words mattered.
God bless Katherine for reinforcing the religious and family values we have treasured for most of our lives.

You have my deepest condolences in your loss of Kaherine. No matter how long we live, and she lived a long and giving life, It is never long enough. She made many lasting Impressions with so many people. Our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah knows the pain that you are in and promises a wonderful resurrection soon to come. That promise can be found in the Bible book of Revelation in chapter 21 and verses 3,4.

My heart is saddened by the loss of my sweet grandmother. I didn't get to visit her very often unforunatley. When I was younger one of my favorite memories was making homemade m&m cookies with her. They were the best!! She used to let us go shopping by ourselves at the corner store, which for a kid was a big deal. She was the kindest person I ever knew. I love you and miss you very much Grandma. My heart is there with my family.
All my love and condolences, Lynn Mooney. Jax, Fl.
