My mom (Mary Boyd) and I are deeply saddened by the news of Mike's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.. Jenny Boyd Solka and Mary Boyd
The best story I have about Mike is one time we were riding snow mobiling with a few guys and I was in the lead and mike was behind me and a one point I knew there was a sharp curve ahead so I gunned it and got way ahead of mike and I pulled off the trail and hid my machine behind a tree and when mike came around the corner I jumped out and tackled him off his machine! Oh ya it was pitch dark out also. We just stood around laughing for a long long time. I thought he might be mad but he laughed harder than anyone. Really miss you Mike.
Mike had such a positive attitude. His grin and laugh were unforgettable.
We were saddened to hear about Mike’s death. May he Rest In Peace eternally. May the family find comfort in the good memories. May Melinda, Tammy, Whitt’s and McDougal’s know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jeanne and Jim, Platteville.
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Mike.

Our condolences to the Whitt family. You are in our thoughts and prayers
My condolences to Melinda and the Whitt family. I remember Mike with that smile on his face. He was a pleasure to have in the classroom and just to be around. See you on the other side buddy.
We offer our Heartfelt Condolences to Mike's Family.
We are so sorry for your family's loss, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Mike was a kind and funny person. I always enjoyed shooting the breeze with him when I worked at KC Bagel and he would come in for his "usual".
Sincerely, Rachael Bolen (Romenesko) and family
