William Buschel, of Elcho, died Monday, April 16, 2018, at his home. He was 78 years old. He was born on November 29, 1939 a son of the late William and Verna (Weber) Buschel. He married Shirley Degener, she preceded him in death on April 27, 2015.

Bill was born and raised in Pelican Lake. He was a graduate of Elcho High School, class of 1958.
He owned and operated the Northwoods Repair in Pelican Lake for 20 years.

He was also a volunteer Fireman for 23 years for Pelican Lake Fire Department.

Bill enjoyed 4-wheeling, was a member of the Parrish Highlanders ATV Club and did trail patrol.

Survivors include a son, Stephen (Debra) Buschel of Pelican Lake; a daughter, Melissa (Robert) Granada of Pelican Lake; four grandchildren, Garrett, Machaela and Ryan Granada and NeCole Oshefsky; and two great-grandchildren, Cierra and Jaden Oshefsky.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 24 at 1 p.m. at the Enterprise Cemetery.
