Kathern Mabry, of White Lake, died Friday, April 13, 2018, at Shawano Health Services. She was 77 years old. She was born on June 11, 1940, in Lily, a daughter of Herman and Dorothy (Carlson) Stuempges. She married Leon Mabry on December 19, 1959, at White Lake. He survives.

She attended the Lily grade school, White Lake High School for two years and graduated from Antigo High School in 1958.

She became a certified nursing assistant after attending North Central Technical College in Antigo. She worked as a CNA at Eastview Manor, and provided care in the patients home through Langlade County Social Services and Langlade Memorial Hospital. She retired in 2003.

She enjoyed flower gardening, knitting and reading.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Ricky (Carole) Mabry, White Lake; a grandson Zachary Mabry; two sisters, Donna Powell, Pearson, Mary (Butch) Bovet, Arizona; a brother, Lauren Stuempges, Menasha.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, June Mabry, a brother in law, Donald Powell, sister in law, Ruth Stuempges.

The funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
