John, a childhood-school friend, will be remembered for his strengths & sense of humor. My sympathies to his family. We reconnected briefly at the court house. John never changed. Rest well dear friend.

A wonderful classmate from Bay View High School. I can remember John talking about a car drive from Chicago he and Adamceck in record time. In English class I was asked to read a passage and John turned around in his chair to egg me on. It was during the '68 presidential campaign when Pat Paulson from the Smothers Brothers was running for President and I read as if I were Pat skipping words and parts of sentences. The laugh from John and his happy face I can picture to this day. He was a very kind soul. Rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear of John's passing. Though I didn't know him well I'll always have a fond memory of a meeting we had while we were both serving in the Air Force. Out of the blue, 8,000 miles from home, we ran into each other and shared a "Bay View " moment. To see a friendly face from back home at that time was uplifting. Thanks John! My condolences to Peggy and John's entire family. Bob Kozinski BV '70

I was very saddened to hear of John's passing. He and I worked together for a long time as partners in the court system. He was hard working, conscientious, opinionated, and a great friend. Pam Haefner

CandleJohn was a very caring brother-in-law and friend. He always had something witty to say even if I didn't agree with it. I will miss his bear hugs and beautiful smile.
Stay strong Peggy. I'm here if and when you need me. Much love, Janet Braun
