Lucille Alft of White Lake died Friday, May 23, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center with her family at her side. She was 88 years old. Born November 19, 1919 in Embarrass, to the late Ira and Bertha (Honish)Brown. She married William Alft on December 9, 1939 at White Lake. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1972.

She graduated from White Lake High School in 1938. She enjoyed swimming in White Lake and enjoyed all that nature had to offer.

Mrs. Alft was a teachers aid in White Lake grade school for many years and was a member of the White Lake Area Historical Society.

Survivors include her two daughters, Doris Holbrook, Green Bay, Christine (Bill) Ohrmundt, Weston; three sons, Daniel Alft, Appleton, William (Barb) Alft, Green Bay, Patrick (Janet) Alft, Little Chute ; 12 grandchildren, Becky (Dan) Turtenwaldt, Reece (Heather) Holbrook, Brian (Cindy) Holbrook, Melissa Hermes, Jon (Dawn) Alft, Lance (Lori) Alft, Jeff (Gail) Alft, Dana (Keith) Zahorik, Steven Alft, Amy (Ken) Schiedermayer, Mark (Kelly) Goffin, Jill Goffin; 33 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons, Michael and David Alft, one brother Roy Brown, two sisters Ellen Trust and Doris DeHorn.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home.
