Clara A. Andraschko, a long time resident of Yuma, Arizona died Thursday March 9, 2017 at the Hospital in Yuma. She was 79 years old. Clara was a graduate of St. Joseph Grade School in Phlox, Antigo High School class of 1955, the Normal School in Antigo and received her Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.

Her motherly ways, deep faith, musical talent and education were well used in raising her four children; Lawrence Andraschko of Yuma Ariz., Jay Andraschko of Yuma Ariz., Kenneth (Amanda) Andraschko of Eagle River, Alaska and Dawn (Rosendo) Velarde, Yuma, Ariz.; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren will miss her.

She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a den mother, a teacher's aid at St. Francis School in Yuma and took her children to visit the library as early as age 2. She dearly loved: family - with whom she remained close, being hospitable, love of nature and warm fresh air.
Clara was a woman of deep faith and prayer, and had a devotion to the Blessed Mother. Parting words when you had to leave, one might often hear, "May the Angels watch over you and protect you. I love you"
