Nicholas Houdek, of Bryant, died Friday, February 17, 2017. He was 27 years old. He was born on August 27, 1989 in Antigo, a son of Tom and Janice (Halambeck) Houdek.

He was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 2007.

He farmed most of his life at the Houdek Family Farm. He also worked at Sunnydale Farms and Kakes Farms.

He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and riding his Honda Fury motorcycle.

Survivors including his parents are three brothers, Jeff Houdek, Bryant, Scott Houdek and Angel Zarda, Bryant, Michael (Emily) Houdek, Little Chute; a sister, Michelle Houdek, Bryant; maternal grandmother, Carol Halambeck, Deerbrook; paternal grandfather, Robert Houdek, Bryant; nephew and niece, Erik and Layla Houdek; aunts uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Halambeck, maternal grandmother, Louise Halambeck, paternal grandmother, Phyllis Houdek, uncle, Randy Houdek.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. at St. Wencel Catholic Church with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be 3:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9 to 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
