Ruth Krueger, of Antigo, died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Rosalia Gardens Assisted Living. She was 87 years old. She was born on September 25, 1929 in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Max and Martha (Wojnowski) Bessa. She married Raymond Krueger June 16, 1952, he preceded her in death on December 28, 2014.
After retirement Ruth moved from Milwaukee to Elcho.
She was known as the "Hat Lady".
Survivors include a son, James Krueger of Antigo; a sister, Theresa Heinan of Waukesha; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Bridget Barber.
No services will be held. Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery, Brookfield.
