Such a kind and gentle man! I loved going up north and seeing him smile and getting his big bear hugs. Paul will be missed when we visit Phlox, this town will never be the same.
Our deepest condolences to Marilyn, all the Koeppel families and my brother Todd and my sister law Kelli and their family.
Rest in peace our dear friend, you will sadly be missed by many!
I am saddened by Paul's passing and extend my deepest sympathy to Marilyn and the entire Koeppel family. Paul was my "Best Friend Forever" long before we even knew what a BFF was...we went to Mattoon High School together, roomed together for four and a half years at the University of Wisconsin, and maintained and strong and caring relationship through the years despite the being separated by careers and thousands of miles. I'm a Navy guy and to me Paul was always a great Warrior, whether it was in the classroom, playing baseball, Freshman football at UW, the business world, or battling cancer, he was a World Class Warrior. I miss you Dear Friend...Fair Winds and Following Seas. Gary and Joyce Zwirschitz, Virginia Beach, VA
We are so very sorry to hear about the passing of Paul. Our hearts go out to his family. Love you all Bill and Laura Hickman
Sorry to hear about my good friend Paul. I'm from Antigo, class of 1957. Paul and I first met at the university of Wisconsin in the early 60's and enjoyed many years of friendship after our graduation. Even though we haven't seen each other for a few years, I often thought of how Paul was doing Best to Paul and his family. Paul Roehrig, New Glarus, WI
