I, too only found out recently of Johnny's death and entend my deepest condolences to his family. He was part of a simpler and wonderful childhood we all shared. I am so sorry Trudy , I wish I would have heard sooner.

I just found out about John's passing, as we were out of the country for a while. John & I go way back to age 4 knowing each other, went to Lomgfellow Grade School, Pleasant View & Antigo High. Many great memories, and I've lost a wonderful piece of my childhood. Rest in peace Johnny. I'll always remember our "Saurkrauters"! My regrets to you Trudy.

John was a good and close friend, beginning at Longfellow School (Gr 1-8) and at High School. Lots of great memories, of a generous, humorous and good friend. Lots of time spent baling hay, playing baseball, crazy things young people do and talk about, and riding in that new Ford Falcon. I have recalled those memories fondly over the years, and John's memory will live on forever for all of his many friends and family.

Johny and I were good friends when we went to Longfellow school (especially my last year there). I have many strong memories from those days. Additionally bailing hay at Dallmeyer's farm, 4-H, and the Longfellow baseball team. Of course Trudy and I were in the same grade at Longfellow (along with Karen). I am deeply affected by Johny's passing. He was a good person and a wonderful friend.

I met John when I was very young through my BFF Jill Anderson. I've known Jack and Jill Anderson my whole life. Me and my children; Jenny and Jake; will miss John, but we have some great memories. Rest in peace old friend.

John was an awesome man, our deepest sympathy to the family. He will forever be in our heartsðŸ'ž

When I was a young kid I worked with john at Baginski farms, most days I spent on the farm were with him or my grandpa, john was truly one of the nicest people you would ever meet, and any time I would mess something up I would tell him first and he would always fox it before I had to tell my grandpa or Mike, john didn't have any kids but he was a father figure to many kids like me, he is gone but his kindness and greatness will never be forgotten.

John was very special to me and my son, Alek. He constantly made us laugh. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He will be forever missed.

To johns family, there will never be a person quite as kind as john. He was always willing to help anyone that needed it. I enjoyed quite a few cocktails with him. Will he rest in peace. He will be missed by all that knew him.

John was always bright and cheery! He knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. Never a dull moment when he was around. All around great guy!!!

John liked them both. I can remember the day to this day when I got my foot smashed & he came over & asked me what was hurt I go my darn foot & than when I fell down & hurt my ribs & ankle he carried me in the office & made sure I was ok also when my coat got caught in the machinery I never saw John run till that day to shut it down & was their again for me.. But John was a very caring guy & we always joked around. he also pulled me out of the snow when my car wouldn't move.. I will miss him so much. also we would bet on the packers & Vikings game till I just stopped cause he would win the money more than me.. prayers to his family & friends.. Love you always & never be forgotten..
