Debora Ann Gaffney of Buffalo Grove, IL was born on September 8, 1957 in South Milwaukee to Vernon and Elaine (nee Schleinz) Koeppel. She died Friday, August 21, 2015 at Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter in Glenview, IL.
Debora worked as a Food Service Manager for Aramark Food Services in Northfield, IL. She was a member of St. Mary Parish in Buffalo Grove, IL. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her children, and was loved by all.
Debora is survived by her spouse of 36 years, Daniel; children, John Gaffney, Kelly (Kyle) Zorn, Timothy Gaffney and step-son, Daniel T. (Leyah) Gaffney, Jr.; grandchildren, Justin, Lily and Keira Gaffney; parents, Vernon and Elaine Koeppel; brothers, Kurt (Connie) Koeppel, and Todd (Melissa) Koeppel; many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
The Order of Christian Funerals will begin with the Vigil of the Deceased on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 with Visitation at 5 p.m. and concluding with 8 p.m. Evening Prayer at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., Arlington Heights, IL .
Visitation Saturday, August 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church, Phlox from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Mass. The Rite of Committal (Burial) will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Phlox.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter at www.carecenter.org.

I am so sorry to hear of Debora's passing. May God's grace give you strength as you move with life without her. I am sorry I don't remember meeting her but I know how difficult it is to lose a loved one. My condolences to all of the family.
