Just got the news today (9/2/15), so sorry for your loss. Although I worked out of Milwaukee I did a few trips with John and really enjoyed working with him. He will be missed.
There is a reason...
My deepest sympathies to your family.
Several years ago my daughter's summer hockey team chartered a bus for a trip to Winnipeg and John was our driver. The girls thought he was great and gave him an honorary team t-shirt on the trip -he was a great man.
Sue, I have been thinking of you in the last weeks. Hugs and prayers for you and your family.
May God grant you His comfort and peace throughout this most trying time.
My sympathy to the entire Tews family. I always enjoyed visiting with John, especially the John Tews wisdom and his sense of humor.
Sue: I know these words will not take the pain away, but I hope they will ease it a little. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
"John is away, yet ever near
His presence fills each day.
His voice, his smile are everywhere
A memory away.
Although he is no longer seen
By family and friend
He lives because he was dearly loved
And love can never end".

Our condolences to the entire family. John was a classmate. Our sympathy, prayer, and thoughts during this time.
Sue and family, John was a great friend and like a big brother to me. He helped me in many of my travels. He was one of the few that would team with me. It meant a lot to have a freind like that. He will be missed very much. He is at peace and with God. My prayers are with you during this hard time.
Sue and family,We send our deepest sympathy to you at this time of sorrow. I remember John as a serious co-worker when we served together on the Town of Antigo fire department. He also was quite a joke teller and listener. We enjoyed seeing Sue and John at our bar/restaurant in Polar several times. May John rest peacefully in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ and may God continue to Bless you and your family.
John was my neighbor, classmate and close friend. Many a times I would have Sue over to the house so she could see John and spend time with him. I am so glad I took time a few months ago to stop and visit with him when I saw him outside, we talked about old times, our kids and I was blessed to have had a chance to pray with my dear friend. May God bring peace and comfort in this time of loss. Praying for everyone through this difficult time.
A schoolmate from Spring Valley. Sue and family, please accept my condolences on your loss. May he rest peacefully in heaven.
