Grace Vanevenhoven passed away March 21, 2015 peacefully at home in her sleep at the age of 68. Grace was born on December 30, 1947 in Combined Locks to the late George and Catherine (Grissman) Hartjes. Grace was united in marriage to Carl Vanevenhoven on September 8, 1993.

Grace is survived by five children, Diane Sahotsky (special friend Shawn Wilder), James (Samantha) Spice, Renee (Thomas) Moeller, John Spice, and Keith Vanevenhoven; six grandchildren, Amanda, Hope and Brooke Moeller, Travis and Ann Marie Spice, and Taylor Vanevenhoven; three step-grandchildren, Ashley, Geoffrey and Alexis; and one great grandchild, Aiden Remter; two brothers, Richard (Marge) Hartjes, White Lake and Tom (Diane) Hartjes, Arkansas; three sisters, Shirley (John) Kemkes, Darboy, Millie (Bob) Van Handel, Shawano, Lois (Gary) Kortz, Freedom. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Geraldine O'Brien, her brother Lester Hartjes and brothers-in-law Ronald O'Brien and Ken Ulrich.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Bradley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to LeRoyer Hospice and doctors for the loving care they provided during her final days.
