Helen Belokas, of Antigo, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at Care Partners in Antigo. She was 87 years old. She was born on March 13, 1927 in Chicago, IL a daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Musala) Bartkowski. She married William Belokas, he preceded her in death on November 23, 1992.

She moved to Gleason as a child, returned to Chicago in 1943 and moved to Antigo in 1975. She was a member of SS Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church in Antigo.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Rozanski, , Anna Louise, three brothers, Andrew, Edward and Joseph Bartkowski.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the church.
