I was very saddened to learn of Andy's passing last week. He was an umpire for our youth baseball league when he was in high school. He was very dependable, respectful, and knowledgeable as a young man and it seems that he remained that way as an adult. I'm sure he was a great father, husband, and coach. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

CandleApril,

I am so sorry to hear about this. May you and your family find some peace during this difficult time.

I didn't know Andy very well, but he was so easy to talk too. He picked up Carter's deer sausage from me last Saturday and he spent some time telling me of his military service, ect. May he rest in peace, and I pray that God gives his whole family peace and comfort.

My heart goes out to the Michalik family and all those who share in the loss of Andy. Too soon for sure. Although contact was lost and too many years slipped by, I was still deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I have great memories of Andy from our school days that I will cherish always. Thoughts and prayers to you all!

Andy was wonderful to have around Amron during his time with Faith Technologies. He made us laugh and was always a great source of knowledge.

In April of this past year, I discovered about eight innings in that I was seated behind Andy and his family at a Brewer's Game. I spoke to April briefly following the final inning and my friends and I shared cotton candy with their boys. I'm always going to think of him like that-with his family, enjoying a game.

Ill never forget hangin with Andy as a kid growing up. The first thing that poped into my mind when I had heard of Andrew`s passing was when were 12 he had asked me one day when we were hangin out if I wanted some kool-aid well ya I said. So we went into Andys house to get some to find the pitcher empty. So andy began to make a fresh pitcher after adding everything to the pitcher andy could not find anything clean to stir it with so he put his arm into the pitcher and began stirring it. It left me speachless. I could not help but laugh at him. I gave andy crap for sticking his arm in the pitcher and told him how gross I thought it was and that I would never stick my hand into a kool-aid pitcher if others intended to drink from it. Well Andy I have a confession. A few months later I was being lazy and yes I stuck my arm into the kool-aid was making to serve and stired away. :-) Goodbye my friend ill see you up there :-(

Andy was a once in a lifetime neighbor and friend. He was the 1st one to welcome me to the neighborhood, the 1st one to offer help when I had my heart attack. We helped each other with dogs and hunting tidbits. We looked out for each other and I will continue to look out for you now with April, carter and payden. Rest in peace my friend, I will miss you. Rest assured, I will help to take care of April and the boys

R Ray Goga on Nov 13, 2014

Andy was the catcher for my Precision,Wausau's city, baseball team. He holds the record for the most RBIs in a season, what I consider to one of the most important stat for a batter. It seamed like every time he came to bat with runners in scoring position, he drove them in. It was a pleasure to play with someone who loved to play the game, like he did. I am sorry to say I am committed to being out of town this weekend and wish I could have expressed my condolences personally. He was fun to be around.

K Kelly Crothers on Nov 13, 2014

I am deeply sorry to hear about Andy's passing. I went to school in Mosinee with Andy, so I have known him since I was a kid! I haven't talked to him in years, but late last year we chatted about a time share that his family couldn't take advantage of and he was offering it up to anyone who could use it! We weren't able to take advantage of the generous offer, but it was still amazing of him to offer this to us after not talking for so many years. May you somehow find peace in this time of sorrow.
