D Dean Simon on Nov 6, 2014

My favorite memory of Uncle Vinol. Was the summer of my freshman year in high school. My parents were moving from Spring Green, Wi to Merrill and I went to live for the summer with Aunt Rosalie and Uncle Vinol. We made hay, picked rock, milked cows and even peeled some poplar. We didn't talk much because Uncle Vinol wasn't real chatty but he had a great sense of humor.

Vinol was one of the last links to my Town of Summit childhood. I will miss that connection to my family, church, cemetery and viable farming comminity
