Agnes A. "Aggie" Cernoch, 86 of Antigo, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 the day before her 87th birthday at Autumn Lane Family Care, Birnamwood under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was born on March 26, 1927 in Crandon, a daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret (Nimtz) Zalewski. She married Winfred Cernoch on July 26, 1947 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. He survives.
She was a 1945 graduate of Antigo High School.
Mrs. Cernoch worked as a telephone operator for the Langlade Telephone Company. She also worked for the Weinbrenner Shoe Factory in Antigo and the Amron Corporation for 10 years retiring in 1980.
Mrs. Cernoch was a member of the Langlade County Senior Citizens Club.
She enjoyed bus trips to the casino, bowling and playing card games and the dice game "Zonk" with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida, sporting events and Hodag Country Music Festival.
In addition to her husband she is survived by four sons, Gary (Sharon Marshall) Cernoch of Antigo, Thomas (Teri) Cernoch of Tomahawk, Alan (Cindy) Cernoch of Antigo and Gregory Cernoch of Antigo; eight grandchildren, Tina (Gary), Rita, Theron, Travis (Kimberly), Troy (Christine), Kami (Kevin), Aaron and Alex; four great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren; a brother, John Zalewski of Antigo; and a half-bother, William (Betty) Behm Jr. of Neva. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Stillwell; three brothers, Robert, Tony, and Allen; a daughter-in-Law, Shelby Cernoch; and step-father, William Behm.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Winnie and family, We are so sorry to learn of Aggie's passing. We are full of fond and happy memories of Winnie and Aggie coming in to our Bar for Friday Fish Frys and having them as a regular on our Schwartz Tours Fun Trips.
